An incentive deal and expansion project at CVG has been approved by the Boone County Fiscal Court.
DHL will expand its facility at CVG and create a new 193,000 square foot sorting facility. DHL is investing $47 million in the expansion after spending $22 million last year. With the new facility, DHL will add 283 new jobs; 120 of them will be full time positions.
"It certainly means a potential good boost coming from DHL and added growth to the airport which is much needed," said Northern Kentucky Tri-ED president and CEO, Dan Tobergte.
