Officials with the Covington Business Council Foundation have announced the organization is changing its name to the Urban Partnership (UP) of Covington in line with its new mission to revitalize the city's commercial and residential areas.
The mission of UP is to create a business friendly environment that both strengthens existing business partners and attracts new businesses to the city while building strong residential communities that grow in conjunction with businesses and create an urban living environment that is second to none.
The centerpiece of UP's work will be the creation of a business improvement district which will provide visible street cleaning and litter collection, weed and graffiti removal in an accelerated fashion. See the work of the BID in action thanks to our friends at MAC Productions.
